Kange, you are really do PNG proud in trying to promote PNG art and culture! It is long overdue in particular in what you andyour group are trying to do. As a Western Highlander, how much really of our culture a you promoting over there. We really have yet to see and appreciate you as a true son of ours what you are being praised for overseas. It is unfortunate and disappointing to see especially you performing overseas but never in Hagen or at University or Goroka. Do something when you return so we can really know and appreciate you. Thank you. Denis.

Asso. Prof. Mel,
Could you send me a copy of your paper? I appreciate how you perceive and view the bilums and bilum makers. As a Curator and an expert in local arts and culture, how are you helping are womenfolk in general esp. in University of Goroka promote bilums and bilumwear, meri blouses, etc....or other aspects of art/design with the students at the University? Daniel.

Would it be possible to get copies of the paper that will be presented? As bilum makers, it would be interesting to find where "our place" is in society or whatever the Asso. Prof. perceives and presents it in his paper. Also as Papua New Guineans but more so as bilum makers how we perceive oursleves whether as creators of this art piece or "carriers" of this art.

Keep up the good work!
